Hi, I'm a 24 y/o, male, former Air Force (just got out in April, Honorable Discharge) soon to be UAA student who arrived in Anchorage a couple months early. I'm waiting for on campus housing to open up on January 12th. Until then I have no where to stay. I'm clean, hygienic, and tidy in common areas (my room generally resembles an organized mess). I'm a night owl, I generally keep quiet when others are sleeping, but I don't sleep until 1 or 2 am, so somewhere that others keep a similar schedule would be best. I have no problem helping out with housekeeping, dusting, vacuuming, shoveling the driveway etc. (I'm not looking to take over all your cleaning duties, but I'd like to put in my share, it seems fair to me). I am social, so a place where I could have friends over would be ideal (no big parties, just friends to come hang out, watch movies, play games or something chill like that). I'm very considerate and respectful of house rules, so whatever you lay out in the beginning I'll follow. I do drink. I'm not a drunk, just go out on weekends and sometimes relax with few beers or a mixed drink at home. You can pretty much consider me a non-smoker type. I do smoke, but only one, and it's right before bed (it helps me sleep, don't ask me why, it just works). I hate the smell of smoke though (go figure) so my stuff won't be all smelly and I'm used to doing outside, away from whatever building I'm in. I'm pretty easy going, so I don't have a lot of requirements for whatever comes along. I need my own room with a door that closes. Doesn't need to be huge, just a closet and some room to breath. Bed isn't required but would be nice. I need a place to park my car and a spot for a small trailer (approx 12'X5'), covered isn't necessary, just so long as they won't get towed, impounded or stolen. I'd like a place with people around my age group, but I'm not being too picky as my options are pretty limited right now. My list of NO's are as follows: No racists, bigots or anyone who's intolerant of alternative lifestyles No sex offenders or violent criminals No crazys (I mean those who are heavily medicated or fly off the handle at the slightest thing) No cats (I'm allergic, dogs are ok) So that's me, hope there's something out there that fits.
